Chatterbox 2 - "Dada"

I think I'm finally getting the hang of this talking game. I've just found out that if I move my mouth and tongue around when I'm using my voice, I can make other sounds. And do you know what sound I can make now?....DADA! It's a pretty good trick because once I say it, everybody says it and tries to talk like me.

My Big Day

Well today was a big day for me. It was my baptism. I'm not quite sure what it is all about but it was a long day and I got to see a lot of people. I had to dress up in a special gown and go to church. I tried my hardest not to spew on the nice gown (it was the same one my sis had when she was little). The man talked for a long time and it was a bit much for me so I decided to take a nap. I got woken up when the man was pouring water on my head. Not real sure why he did that but I went back to sleep after that. I even got some cool things like my own personal bib and towel and a nice gold cross necklace. Later on I found out that I have 3 godparents - John, Chris and Santie.
Then we went to a nice place at Cronulla where I got to dress up in nice clothes while lots of people held me and talked to me. With so many things and people to look at there was no chance I was going to go to sleep and miss it all. What a long day!

Guess Who I Saw?

Do you know who I saw today? He was dressed in red and had a big, big white beard. I'm not quite sure how his hair grows that long but I loved the feel of it. Once I got a good grip I didn't want to let go. I've heard some other babies get scared of this big man in red but not me! I got my picture taken with him and my big sis, but I'm not going to put that picture up just yet...

Tummy Time

I've been getting a lot more time on my tummy lately. It can be exhausting because I have to hold me head up all the time, but it gets easier. I'd like to be able to move towards the things that I see, but I haven't quite worked that out yet. I can use my hands to reach for things, but I think I need to involve my legs somehow if I want to move. I'm sure if I keep trying I will get it!

Funny Faces

Mummy and Emma sure like to pull funny faces. I must admit it does make me laugh a lot. Does that mean I will always be pulling faces when I grow up?

Yummy Raspberries

I've got a new trick that I think is pretty cool. If I poke my tongue out a little bit and blow through my mouth I can make a funny noise! I've heard people call them raspberries. Sometimes if I'm dribbling a little bit I can spray it everywhere. If I see someone else blowing one, then I have to do it too! I can even blow raspberries when I'm bouncing in the jolly jumper. I'm a pretty clever baby you know...

Chatterbox

I can make a lot of different voices now. I try to make the same noises that I hear but it's a bit tricky. Sometimes I like to just lie there and listen to all the different sounds that I can make. Today I had a conversation with daddy. It was like he knew exactly what I was saying.
