We are the GEEKS!

Last week Mummy got some special shirts made for me and Daddy. They say GEEK because we are the geeks and they are in our favourite colours.

We are always good at playing with and fixing geeky things!

One Big Zoo Day

During the school holidays Mummy, Daddy, Emma, her friend Hayley and I went on a trip to Taronga Zoo. It was very exciting because I love animals and I really wanted to see the giraffes!

First we got the train to the city. Then we got on a ferry. It was so cool because I hadn't been on one before.



When we arrived at the zoo we were a bit hungry so it was time to stop and have something to eat. I wanted to be in charge of the map so I could make sure we were going the right way.



When we got to the monkey enclosure, it was time for a silly photo with mummy!



Then we started seeing dinosaurs. They looked so real it was a bit scary for some of them. The big T-Rex was the most scary. I didn't want to get too close to him.





Then there was a section where we could help dig up dinosaur bones in the sand.





This was a big seal statue that we were being silly on. I was getting a bit tired by this time! Soon after we left the zoo and got the ferry and train back home.

Riding Along

So not long after Christmas I got to take my new bike out for a spin at the track. This was the first time I had ridden my bike and I think I got the hang of it really quickly. It's a bit tricky to go up hills and sometimes I get stuck if I stop.

After my first lap of the park I asked Daddy to take my training wheels off because I didn't need them anymore. He thinks I should leave them on for now.

I like to use my bike to have races against my sister Emma too!

Singalong

For Christmas I got some really cool headphones for my ipod. They're just like Emma's but mine are blue. It's terrific because now I can use them to listen to my songs on my ipod, and even better for helping me sing the songs! Scootering Jack

Here's a video of me practising with the new scooter that I got for Christmas. Daddy filmed this on boxing day so I was only getting the hang of it. You can see me trying to do jumps on it already. I'm much better at it now. All I want to do is go faster!

Merry Christmas! - Part 2

Just in case you were wondering, I did get to see Santa before he delivered our presents on Christmas day. I saw him with my sister Emma and told him all the things that I would like.

Merry Christmas and a happy new year everybody!

Christmas morning was very exciting because Santa came! He left lots of presents for me and Emma. We did really good unwrapping. It was a big day because we started at home, then went to Daddy's place, then to John's place and then to Nanna and Grandad's place, what a day!
