Timelapse Time!

One of the things I like to do is a timelapse video of when I build my Lego sets. It makes everything go really fast and looks cool.

The first one I did was during the build of my Lego Movie Ice Cream truck set. This was a cool set because it can switch between an ice cream truck and an ice cream ship that shoots ice cream!

The second one I built was the Lego Star Wars turbolaser. This is a small set and I was able to build this pretty quickly.

Vivid Lights

Last week we went on a special trip into the city at night time to see the Vivid lights. It was cool there were lights everywhere and it was very colourful. We went for a walk up to the Opera House and then back around the other side. We also had dinner in the city.

This was my favourite section. You could run around on these lights and they would change colour and spin around when you step on them. Emma and I ran around them all to make them change.

This was the cool light spinner that I got.

Here is me and Emma in front of the Opera House. See how it is all lit up?

Happy Star Wars Day

Did you know that the 4th of May is called Star Wars day? Recently, Daddy told me why. It's because you can say 'May the fourth be with you'! I thought it was very funny when I found out.
For Star Wars day Daddy and I went to a shopping centre that was very far away to see a giant lego Darth Vader and Yoda getting built. I was even able to help build one of the pieces!

Another thing that I like to play is Minecraft. It's an xbox game where you can build everything out of blocks. Here are some of the blocks that I have. It took Daddy a while to put all of these together.

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everyone! I hope the Easter bunny came to visit you. He certainly came to see me and Emma because we have lots of yummy chocolate eggs!

It was very exciting in the days leading up to Easter because we did a lot of Easter activities at preschool. One of those activities was making our hats for the Easter hat parade. Daddy, Nanna and Grandad came to watch us perform. I was very excited when I saw them in the crowd!

Do you like my Easter hat? The ears got a little bit droopy.

My Lego Review - Batman Helicopter Chase

I've been wanting to do another Lego review recently so here's my review of my Lego Batman Helicopter Chase set. It's got Batman in the Batwing who is chasing the Joker in a helicopter. It's a cool set and I like to play with it and pull it apart a lot so I can build it again.

Kicking Goals

Last weekend was very exciting because I started nursery soccer! This was a bit different to soccer joey's because we play outside on a real soccer field.

I was very fast and did some good kicking. I managed to score 8 goals. I remember because I was keeping count the whole time. After I scored a few I had to run over to mummy and daddy to get high fives.

First we did some warm ups and had to run around and chase the coach.

Here's me doing some practice kicks. I'm about to score a goal!

It was very fun and I was pretty worn out by the end of it. I can't wait to go again next week!

Our Queensland Holiday - Part 4

After our adventures on the Gold Coast, we drove up to stay at Grandma and Grandpop's place. I did some swimming in the pool and liked to feed all the birds that came to the balcony. I even got to see big lizards as well.

Grandpop took us fishing and Emma and I caught lots of fish! Daddy only caught one. Grandpop was a good helper because I didn't like touching the fish.

It can be very exciting being at Grandma and Grandpop's place so sometimes I just need to find a place to rest. They have nice big comfy chair that are perfect for sleeping in.

Leftovers

Here are some leftover photos from some of the other things we got up to on our holiday.

This one was from the fancy dress day at Paradise Resort. Everybody was dressed up and we went on a parade.

Here is Emma under the big bucket. She is about to get soaked!

During our stay at the resort they had a couple of outdoor movie nights. Luckily for us we could see the big screen from our balcony, so mummy and daddy managed to set my bed up outside so we could lie down and watch the movie!

The resort also had a place where you could skate on the ice. I was really excited to try this. It was much harder than it looks, it's very slippery.

Here's a little video of me skating with Daddy. He saved me from falling over.

This is one of the games that we played by the pool. We were in teams and we had sponges. We had to fill up the sponges with water and empty them in our cup. It was extra tricky because we had to balance something on our head at the same time.

This was one of my favourites. Giant connect 4!

And this is us after sliding down the viking slide at Sea World. We got a bit wet!
