To Melbourne We Go!

A couple of weeks ago we went on a short holiday to Melbourne. I'd never been to Melbourne before so this was a very new experience for me. I thought it looked a lot like Sydney, except it had trams on the road.

Once we had arrived and dropped off our bags, we went out for a walk at the park.



We made our way to the museum where we had tickets to see their new Jurassic World exhibition (did you notice my shirt too??)





You reckon I do a good scared face?



Then it was off for another walk to find a place to eat for dinner.



The next day we went to visit a very high tower. It had a look out at the very top. It was 88 floors high!









When we got back down to the ground we went for a walk along the river. You could probably tell I was a little tired/hungry in this photo.



After something to eat, the girls decided to go do some shopping while Dad and I went to visit the aquarium.





These penguins were very cute!



After all this sightseeing and walking, I needed some downtime. This is how I like to relax.



We went to a lot of different places to eat while we were in Melbourne. Some of them had colouring in for kids.



This was the last place we stayed. Our flight was cancelled so we had to stay another night in a hotel. I was starving by this time and it was getting quite late.

My 7th Birthday!

This year I turned 7 years old. This was another birthday that I was very excited about and I had a very big day.


It started out with the opening of presents in the morning. I got a new Lego set and got straight into building.





Then we went bowling. I went with my friend Jakub. After bowling we went out for lunch and then went back home for more opening of presents!

Finally we went out for dinner. I chose the venue - 'Chips' (Gymea Hotel). This time I had my friend Kobe come with us.



After dinner it was back home for cake. Mum made me a cake with Minecraft on it!

Skyzone Adventure

A little while back I went to visit a new play area at Westfield with my friend Jakub. It's a big area with lots of bouncing activities. It was very fun and we were worn out when our time was up! They also had a lot of climbing walls but I'm not so sure about those.

The Gamers

I'm sure you already know that I love to play video games. I would consider myself a 'gamer'. Recently I had my friend Jayden over at Dad's place to play the Xbox. We played Plants vs Zombies together. We started off on the same team but then I secretly switched teams so I could fight against him!

Easter Time

It's that time of the year again when the Easter bunny comes to visit! I know when it's close to Easter because we get to go to the Easter show. The best thing about the show is the showbags and that was the first thing I wanted to do when we got there. I'm not that interested in the rides.

As you can see the train ride in was a little bit crazy.



We did get to see some very cute animals at the show.





I got to go on the ferris wheel with mum and dad. It wasn't as scary as I thought it would be after a while. I could even spin the carriage around.

Here's a video from some of the easter show. As you can see I wasn't too keen on getting near the baby goats. They looked cute but I was happy to keep my distance from them.

Easter Sunday

And one week later it was Easter weekend and that means......EASTER EGGS! This year we had 3 different easter egg hunts. I love hunting for the eggs but I'm not so excited about eating them.

This video sums up the day and all the egg hunting we did. I made sure Dad filmed a lot of it so I could share it with you.


Here are some Easter photos. The Easter bunny visited Mummy's place, that's why there are so many eggs!







We had another egg hunt at Daddy's and then one at Nanna and Grandad's. I did that one with my cousin Isabella.

My Lego Review - Lego Minecraft 'The Mine'

You might know that I really love a game called Minecraft. It's a game where you can dig and build anything you can think of. I love to build big houses. Another thing I really love is Lego, and now there is Lego Minecraft!

One of the sets I have is called 'The Mine'. I really like to build this one and I did a review so you can see what it is all about.

Time with my Cousins

Over the past few weeks I've been able to spend some time with my cousins Isabella and Frankie. It's been a long time since I've seen them because they live in Darwin.

When we were at Nanna and Grandad's, I showed Isabella how to throw waterbombs off the balcony. She thought it was really great!

A lot of the waterbombs ended up in the pool. I was more than happy to jump in and collect them all. I also found a good way of exploding them, by biting them!




We were also invited to Isabella's 2nd birthday party at Old School Park.
