Jack on Stage

Now that it's school holidays, I get the chance to go on a drama camp! I actually went to one in the last school holidays and I loved it so much that I really wanted to do it again. I had a really fun time and at the end of it we do a performance for everyone to watch. Here's a video of me in the performance we did last school holidays. See if you can find me in there, I played the part of one of the 'natives' in the story.

Testing the New Wheels

A few weeks ago I decided it was time to take out my radio controlled car for a bigger test drive. Dad and I took it to a soccer field where we could really see how fast it could go.... and it goes fast! It took a while to get a hang of the steering but I was able to drive it pretty well. I even did a few jumps!

How I've Changed

Recently at school I had to present some news to my class. The topic was 'How I've Changed'. I think the best way to show how I've changed is through a slide show! This video is what I presented to my class to show how I have changed over the last 7 years. They all loved it!

At the Firing Range

I love to collect and shoot Nerf guns. If you're not sure what a Nerf gun is, it's a toy gun that shoots foam darts very quickly. I often have nerf wars with Dad and Emma. I decided it was time to show you my collection and demonstrate these guns so I made this video. This was a tricky video to make, you'll see why when you get near the end of it!

To Melbourne We Go! - The Video

I've finally put together the video of our trip to Melbourne. I take you on a tour of some of the sites that we visited. It's a long one so you might want to make a cup of coffee before you watch!

To Melbourne We Go!

A couple of weeks ago we went on a short holiday to Melbourne. I'd never been to Melbourne before so this was a very new experience for me. I thought it looked a lot like Sydney, except it had trams on the road.

Once we had arrived and dropped off our bags, we went out for a walk at the park.



We made our way to the museum where we had tickets to see their new Jurassic World exhibition (did you notice my shirt too??)





You reckon I do a good scared face?



Then it was off for another walk to find a place to eat for dinner.



The next day we went to visit a very high tower. It had a look out at the very top. It was 88 floors high!









When we got back down to the ground we went for a walk along the river. You could probably tell I was a little tired/hungry in this photo.



After something to eat, the girls decided to go do some shopping while Dad and I went to visit the aquarium.





These penguins were very cute!



After all this sightseeing and walking, I needed some downtime. This is how I like to relax.



We went to a lot of different places to eat while we were in Melbourne. Some of them had colouring in for kids.



This was the last place we stayed. Our flight was cancelled so we had to stay another night in a hotel. I was starving by this time and it was getting quite late.

My 7th Birthday!

This year I turned 7 years old. This was another birthday that I was very excited about and I had a very big day.


It started out with the opening of presents in the morning. I got a new Lego set and got straight into building.





Then we went bowling. I went with my friend Jakub. After bowling we went out for lunch and then went back home for more opening of presents!

Finally we went out for dinner. I chose the venue - 'Chips' (Gymea Hotel). This time I had my friend Kobe come with us.



After dinner it was back home for cake. Mum made me a cake with Minecraft on it!
