Gold Coast Holiday

Earlier this year we went on a holiday to the Gold Coast. We stayed at Sea World resort and it was good fun. It was right next to Sea World so we could pop over there whenever we wanted. We visited a few of the theme parks, went on some rides and saw some cool shows. On our last day we got to see Grandma and Grandpop before we got our flight home.

Here are some photos of our trip. You can see that the pool area at the resort was really cool, there were plenty of areas to get wet and cool down.

 

On our second day we went into Surfers Paradise. We went to Ripley's Believe it or Not and Timezone where I got to play lots of games. We also did dodgems and laser tag.





The next day was Movie World. It was very hot!







The following day we went to Wet N Wild. This place was pretty busy but it was a good place to cool off.







Back to Surfers Paradise for a nice dinner.



As you can see I'm feeling a bit full from this ice cream sandwich.





The moon was very bright.



We decided to go for a walk to McDonald's in the morning for breakfast. It was a bit of a long walk and it got hot very quickly.



After breakfast we went to Sea World. I like to be in charge of the map so I know where we need to go.



We saw lots of animals including the dolphins.









This was one of my favourite rides (you can see more in the video). You get to go around on a pirate ship and shoot people with the water cannons!

Beach Day

Not long after Christmas it was getting quite warm which meant it was time to visit the beach. This was our last trip to the beach at Cronulla for 2018. It was nice to cool off, play in the sand and check out the rock pools.

Merry Christmas 2018

Merry Christmas everyone! As usual I was getting pretty excited leading up to Christmas this year and got up super early. Emma and I were very lucky with our presents so we must've been good. I got a new TV and a beanbag for my bedroom which is so cool because now I do all my gaming with my friends in there. Later in the day we went over to Nanna and Grandad's for a nice lunch.

USA Holiday - New York - The End!

We continued to see the sights in New York by visiting the top of Rockefeller Centre which was called 'Top of the Rock'. We had a very good view of all of New York City up there. When we got back down to the ground we went checked out some shops, including a return to the Nintendo store and the discovery of another lego store! We walked along the 'High Line' which was an old railway bridge that was converted to a greenway. We ended our last night in New York by seeing the Aladdin musical on Broadway.

After all of that we reached the end of our great trip and it was time to head back home. We got back to Australia after many long hours waiting in airports and on planes.

USA Holiday - New York Part 1

The final leg of our holiday was several night in New York City. We packed a lot into our stay in New York. For this first video we got our first look at the streets of the city before visiting a very green central park. We also went to Times Square, Nintendo World store, M&M's World, the Museum of Natural History and wet and windy ferry ride around the Statue of Liberty island.
