A Smile a Day...

Wanna know what I can do really well now? SMILE! Now that I can see really well and recognise faces, I see a lot of things that make me happy. My big sister Emma is always doing things to make me smile. I'm also getting chubbier cheeks, maybe its from all the smiling I do? My hair is still really cool and getting longer, but I heard that it is supposed to fall out really soon.

What Are These Tummy Pains?

Nearly every time mummy feeds me, I get pains in my tummy. I don't know what they are but they make me cry. But if someone pats and rubs my back, I can do a big burp and the pain goes away. Sometimes I even do a big fluff. And sometimes I even spit a bit of milk back up. Does that mean I drank too much? Maybe I am a greedy guts sometimes.

Wrapping Paper

Because I'm very little, I get wrapped up a lot of the time. My arms get tucked in and I am wrapped nice and tight. Most of the time I don't mind and it helps me sleep. But other times I just want a bit of freedom. No words can describe how good it feels after being released from several hours of wrapping.

I Like to Play

I can start to see shapes and patterns now, it's so cool. I can even see some colours. I've got my own play gym that I can use. I am trying to reach out to grab the hanging toys but I haven't quite got the hang of it yet, so my arms just flap about. I think I am getting stronger and I might be getting a little fatter too.

Family Time

Today I got to show everyone my new trick that I've been working on - I can almost fit my whole hand in my mouth. I'm not sure why I do it, maybe it tastes nice. It was a fun day because big sis Emma came over to Daddy's place as well. I like sis because she always helps me and mummy and she always talks to me. I like the sound of her voice too. When I'm bigger we can play lots of games like hide and seek but for now I can settle for 'peek-a-boo'.

Holding My Head High

Today I went on a visit to daddy's place. He's probably lucky that I still can't see that well because I'm sure it wasn't neat and tidy. I'm getting better at keeping my head up on my own, but sometimes I do still need a helping hand. It's not easy when you've gotta carry all this hair!

Early Days

Every day I think I can do a little bit more. I'm learning to move my arms around and squeeze my hands. I can also kick good, but I was always good at that even before I was born. I just like to feed and sleep at the moment. I can't do much else if I can't see properly, right? Can't wait to see what those noisy blurs turn out to be.
