A Swim at the Beach

Today I went to a birthday party for another little boy called Lewis. He turned 1. The party was down at Darook Park at Cronulla and it was very nice. Daddy took me into the water for a swim. The water was warm and I got to have a bit of a splash. The water was salty so when I splashed my face I couldn't stop licking it.
After my swim I got quite tired so I had a little sleep in my pram. When I woke up, Daddy already had the camera out. I was still a little bit asleep and I'm sure you can see that in the photo.

I also got my first taste of dirt. I had a play on the blanket but I soon found the grass and dirt underneath it. I got to taste sticks and bark too!

Happy Australia Day!

Happy Australia Day everyone. This is another day that I'm not quite sure about, although I did see a lot of flags around today. Mum and Dad took me down to Cronulla and there were a lot of people there. A lot. Since it was a special day I got my hair spiked up! I reckon it looked pretty cool.

I'm getting good at eating solid foods now, and I had a fruit salad at Cronulla. I even had kiwifruit and pineapple! You can't see in these photos, but I have 2 nice big teeth coming through on the bottom.

How to Crawl?

If only I knew how to crawl. I’m sure it has something to do with my legs and arms but I’m just not sure. I can lift myself of the ground with my arms, but then I try to kick and I don’t really go anywhere. I can spin around in circles though. I’m sure I’ll work it out any day now….

Another Milestone for Me!

I reached another "growing up" milestone recently, but gee, it wears me out! I can sit up straight with out anything around me. I used to be able to do it a little bit, but once I lost my balance, down I went. Not anymore. I can sit up for ages. But eventually I might wobble just a bit too much and I'll be on my back. I can even get from sitting up to on my tummy in one go.

It's Christmas Time

Today was a big day for me. I wasn't quite sure what it was all about though. Everyone was up when I woke up in the morning, and that is usually pretty early. Even my sis was up and at it. I've been told that Santa came overnight (who is that?) and delivered quite a few presents, even some for me! I needed a bit of help opening my presents as it was a bit tricky, but sis had no troubles at all. I got a lot of new toys and outfits and other things. After that I had a nap and then we went to Daddy's place to do it all again. Wow I got a lot of cool new things!
I also think it is finally time to show you my photo with Santa. I had one by myself and one with Emma.

My First Competition

I just entered my first 'baby of the year' photo competition. It's at the chemist in Gymea shops. So if you go down there over the next few days, you'll see me on the wall.

Dad had a photoshoot with me to try and get the best photo to put it in. I did my best at making good faces and poses. This was the photo that we entered. Gotta be a winner don't you think?

What Nice Table Manners I Have!

Did you know I've started eating solid food now? For the last few weeks I've been able to eat some new stuff out of a spoon. It comes in different colours and tastes great. It was a little tricky learning to eat out of the spoon, but I'm getting good at it now. Lucky I have a bib because this stuff goes everywhere.
So now that I can eat solid food, I need to sit at a table like a big person. At Daddies place I have a special table that has cool toys that sit on it. When it's time to eat, the toys come off and its a food table.

As you can see, I really like that springy birdie.
