Movie Time!

At the end of July I went to see a special movie with Daddy. It was the new Thomas movie! It was called King of the Railway. It was really good. Once it was over I wanted Daddy to go and buy the DVD so I could watch it again, but it's not out yet.

When we went to get our tickets we saw a really big Minion from the Despicable Me movie (I saw that at the movies too). Those guys are so funny and I had to have a photo with him.



Then we saw a photo of Thomas with the Fat Controller, except you could put your face in it. Do you think I make a good fat controller?

An Unusual Outing

In the last school holidays, Daddy took me to a place that was a bit different. It had lots of people that looked real but they really weren't. I wanted to go because Daddy told me there would be superheroes there...and there were! The place was called Madame Tussauds, but I'm not real sure what that means.

When we got there we went on a ship that had a big cannon. I wanted to have a photo with the cannon because I had just seen Pirates of the Caribbean, so I knew what they were.

We found some of the superheroes. Iron Man was really big. There was a Wolverine too but he looked a bit scary to get close to him.





Daddy knew who this next man was. He was called Mad Max. I don't know why.



This was a funny one because the alien looked so cuddly! I'm riding a bike with him in a basket.



Don't worry this isn't a real croc. I wasn't scared of it.



Some of the people we saw looked a bit strange. I didn't want to go too close to them because I wasn't sure if they would move!

My Preschool Photo

A while ago we had special photos taken at my preschool. We had to wear our best clothes and be careful not to get them dirty!

I think this one turned out pretty good.

My Lego Review - Jabba's Palace and Rancor Pit

I finally got it! I've been waiting a long time for this one and I got it for my birthday. It's the Lego Star Wars Jabba's Palace and Rancor Pit! It's so exciting.
Unfortunately there wasn't time on my birthday to start building it but I got Daddy to calm me down by reading me the instruction manual when I went to bed. We started building it first thing in the morning! Then I couldn't wait to do a review to tell you all about it.



A few weeks later I decided to pull it apart and build it all over again!

My First Fish

The day after my birthday I got to try out the present that Grandpop bought me...my fishing rod! We all went to Grays Point to try and catch a fish. It was a bit cold. I could see all the fish in the water so I knew they were there.







There was a problem when a part of my reel fell into the water. But Grandpop came to the rescue! He jumped into the freezing water and got the piece that we needed. He was very brave. It was lucky he got it and fixed my reel because after that I caught a fish! I touched it but I didn't want to kiss it like Grandpop did!

Happy Birthday to Me!

There was a very exciting day last week that I had been waiting and waiting for. It was my 4th birthday! I'd been counting down the sleeps to this day. I'm a big boy now because I am 4. 

Here is a video of me just after I woke up nice and early and found some birthday presents!

I got some cool dress up clothes. Here is the first one. It is my Jake and the Neverland Pirates costume! I like being a pirate.



Then I got dressed up in my new Luke Skywalker jedi costume with a lightsaber!



Here is the yummy cake that I had. I wanted a Spiderman one.



For my birthday dinner I wanted to go to the Tradies. It has a kids club that I like to go to. Lots of my friends and family came. It was good fun to see everyone.



Here's a photo with my sister Emma and Mummy. I was pretty tired by then and feeling ready for bed after such a big day. Thank you everyone for sharing my birthday with me!

Our Magic Show

A few days ago, Emma and I hosted a magic show for Mummy and Daddy. We didn't have much rehearsal time and we made some things up on the spot, but I think it was a great success. We did good magic tricks!
