Our Little Holiday - Part 2

Another place that we visited on our holiday to Canberra was the Dinosaur museum! Daddy took me there while the girls went and did girl things.

We saw lots of dinosaurs. Some of them looked a bit scary.







Here is me hatching out of an egg like a baby dinosaur!



It was fun when I got to build a dinosaur skeleton.





After that we went to Floriade. This was another place that had lots of flowers. I had to stop for ice cream. Of course I made a bit of a mess.









It was a big day. I'm glad we brought the stroller.



The next day we went for a walk through Canberra. We found these weird dogs.



Then we went to a place called Questacon. It was really cool. There were lots of things to look at and touch.



Emma was very brave and did this big slide. There were some people who got too scared when they got to the top!



After that we went to the place where they make all the money. I found this treasure chest with lots and lots of gold!




And that was it for our quick holiday!

Our Little Holiday - Part 1

Recently Mummy, Daddy, Emma and I went on a little holiday for one night. We went to a place called Canberra. We left early in the morning and drove in the car for a long time.

Our first stop was in Goulburn and we saw a really big sheep called the big Merino. We even got to climb up to the top to look out his eyes.

When we got closer to Canberra, we stopped at a place called Tulip Top Gardens. It had lots of colourful flowers and a little waterfall.










Then we left and went to a place called Cockington Green Gardens. I really loved this place. It had lots of tiny buildings and people. It was like a tiny world! There were so many things to see and even some trains. It was very exciting!

Gone Fishing Again

This one was a couple of months ago. Mummy, Daddy and I went fishing again at Grays Point. It was fun because I learnt how to cast the line myself! It took a few tries but I got it eventually. Unfortunately we didn't catch any fish this time.

Later on in the day we went to the park with my bike. I thought this would be a good time to hide in the boot of Dad's car. Mum did too!

Movie Time!

At the end of July I went to see a special movie with Daddy. It was the new Thomas movie! It was called King of the Railway. It was really good. Once it was over I wanted Daddy to go and buy the DVD so I could watch it again, but it's not out yet.

When we went to get our tickets we saw a really big Minion from the Despicable Me movie (I saw that at the movies too). Those guys are so funny and I had to have a photo with him.



Then we saw a photo of Thomas with the Fat Controller, except you could put your face in it. Do you think I make a good fat controller?

An Unusual Outing

In the last school holidays, Daddy took me to a place that was a bit different. It had lots of people that looked real but they really weren't. I wanted to go because Daddy told me there would be superheroes there...and there were! The place was called Madame Tussauds, but I'm not real sure what that means.

When we got there we went on a ship that had a big cannon. I wanted to have a photo with the cannon because I had just seen Pirates of the Caribbean, so I knew what they were.

We found some of the superheroes. Iron Man was really big. There was a Wolverine too but he looked a bit scary to get close to him.





Daddy knew who this next man was. He was called Mad Max. I don't know why.



This was a funny one because the alien looked so cuddly! I'm riding a bike with him in a basket.



Don't worry this isn't a real croc. I wasn't scared of it.



Some of the people we saw looked a bit strange. I didn't want to go too close to them because I wasn't sure if they would move!

My Preschool Photo

A while ago we had special photos taken at my preschool. We had to wear our best clothes and be careful not to get them dirty!

I think this one turned out pretty good.

My Lego Review - Jabba's Palace and Rancor Pit

I finally got it! I've been waiting a long time for this one and I got it for my birthday. It's the Lego Star Wars Jabba's Palace and Rancor Pit! It's so exciting.
Unfortunately there wasn't time on my birthday to start building it but I got Daddy to calm me down by reading me the instruction manual when I went to bed. We started building it first thing in the morning! Then I couldn't wait to do a review to tell you all about it.



A few weeks later I decided to pull it apart and build it all over again!
