T-Ball Winners!

Now that summer is over, so is the T-Ball season. We ended up tying 1st place for the season! I had lots of fun playing and can't wait for the next season. This was our medal ceremony.

Disco Time!

Back in February we had a family fun night at my school. It was like a disco except parents had to participate too! It was funny watching Mummy and Daddy.

I was exhausted from all the dancing but it was fun.




See how sweaty I got?? Lucky we had pizza to give me energy.

I am the Book Whizz!

A couple of weeks ago at school I was able to participate in the Book Whizz competition. This required us to read books and answer questions on those books correctly. I was selected to represent my class in the final. It was very exciting because it took place in the school hall and parents came to watch too!

The day started with some activities in our classroom. Mummy, Daddy and Nanna came to see my room. I got to show them where I sit and where we can read books.


















Then it was time to go to the hall for the grand final of the Book Whizz competition. I wasn't worried at all!







And here you can see that we won and I became the kindergarten champion! I was very proud and I think everyone else was too.

Summer Holidays

The summer holidays have come and gone but it still feels like yesterday when we were doing all of these things. The video below sums up some of the things that we did:


One of the places we did visit was Luna Park. We went there because they had a special Lego show on with lots of big models that people had built.

And this is me in front of one of my favourite Lego models - the Octan tower from the Lego Movie. If you haven't seen the movie you would have no idea what this is. There is also a photo here of a really cool Star Wars forest battle.

 

When we finished with the Lego display the girls went off to go on a ride so I decided it was time to go for a drive!

The Day I Started School

This week I reached a major milestone - I started school! I've been very excited in the weeks leading up to this. I already knew a bit about the school because it's the same one that Emma went to. It's very different from preschool because it's a much bigger place and there are a lot more kids there. I've been practicing my reading and maths so that I'm ready for the challenges of Kindergarten.

I was able to get ready very quickly in the morning because I was so excited. Do you like my uniform?



And here I am with my big sister. She also started in year 7 at her new high school!




We always have to do a silly face photo as well!





Here is my first walk out the door on my way to my new adventure.





The back can get a little bit heavy but I'll get used to it.



Once I got to school I caught up with my best buddy Kobe.



Nanna also came to see me start at my new school.





And here is Mum joining me in my new classroom. I was very keen to get straight into it and start learning!

Major League Jack

Just after Christmas my teeball team were all invited to go and see a real baseball game at Blacktown. It was Sydney vs Brisbane. We got to run out onto the field with the players as they were introduced. It was fun and I ran really fast! After the game we were able to run around the bases ourselves. I ran around a few times. Cooling Off 2

During the school holidays we have had some really hot days. Days so hot that you have to get into some water to cool down.

Over the last couple of weeks we have visited some parks that had water. They were very refreshing. The video below shows what we were up to. You'll notice that I also re-visited the playground with the water channels. This time I was prepared to get really wet!
