USA Holiday - Universal Studios 1

Our time at Disney was up but the holiday was not over yet. After a quick Uber trip north, we arrived at our resort at Universal Studios - Cabana Bay Beach Resort. This resort was right next to Volcano Bay! After a look around and a swim we went to Universal Citywalk to explore some more and get something to eat.
We spent the next day at the Universal Studios. The big highlight here was Diagon Alley, which most of you would know from Harry Potter. There was a lot to see and do, but the first thing to take care of was wand shopping. With a special wand we began casting spells on the special magic spots that were located all over the area.

USA Holiday - Epcot

Our last park visit during our stay at Disney was Epcot. It was very different compared to the other Disney parks. A lot of the park was based on different parts of the world, like Japan, Italy or Germany. We timed our visit well because Epcot Food & Wine Festival was running while we were there. There were a lot of different foods and drinks to try, and of course there were some rides (the test track car ride was really fast but lots of fun!). After this we said goodbye to Disney World and packed up and moved to Universal Studios.

USA Holiday - Legoland

This was the park Jack was most excited about. It was also the reason for the whole trip in the first place. There was so much Lego here and fortunately not many people - we hardly had to queue for any rides! We had a packed day, visiting nearly every ride in the park. At the end of the day we could not escape from buying some Lego in the gift shop.

USA Holiday - The Disney Water Parks

During our time in Florida it got pretty hot so it was lucky that Disney has two water parks! The first park was visited was called Typhoon Lagoon. It had a big wave pool that made the biggest and fastest waves we had ever seen in a pool.
The second park was Blizzard Beach. This whole park was theme like a ski resort, with snowy peaks and icicles everywhere. There were even some parts of the lazy river where the waterfalls actually had icy cold water!
As you can see in the video, we got to go on lots of slides at both parks, including several family raft rides. It was definitely a great way to cool off in the Florida heat.

USA Holiday - Hollywood Studios - Part 2

We're back! More very hot days were spent at Hollywood Studios. In this video we got to meet BB-8, see the First Order perform their march, see Dad have a very close encounter with some patrolling stormtroopers and also see the night time shows Disney Movie Magic and Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Fireworks! USA Holiday - Hollywood Studios - Part 1

We were excited about coming to this park because this is where all of the Star Wars rides and characters are. Jack was lucky enough to get into the Jedi training program where he got to fight onstage against Darth Vader! We also got to meet Star Lord and Groot from the Guardians of the Galaxy and also watch a cool Indiana Jones stunt show.
